These pictures are of our first generation. They are now 7-8 months old and have begun laying. They are the results of breeding a Showgirl Cockerel (Inga Ladd line) to various colours of Silkies (Almostafarm line)

All the buff Showgirls have now been delivered to my partner Bren in Texas. I am concentrating on White, Splash, Blue & Black.
I am consistently getting good skin colour and 5 toes. Now in the 4-5 generation breeding crest and feathering is a priority.

I have started hatching already for the 2005 season. So far I have 2 white showgirls with 10 more eggs to go all under a hen. I intend to fire up the incubator in 2 weeks.

2006 Hatching season has gone well. Bren and I are really seeing some nice results, we will be entering several in our local poultry shows. Look for us at the Silkie Nationals in Sedalia MO on October 14th and also at the Crossroads Junior show in Indianapolis, Indiana, November 17th
